Our Story
Where it
all started
Every great pizza has a story, and ours began long before Luigi’s Pizza Company had a name.
For more than a decade, I owned and operated Sweet-Tehy’s, a home-based bakery in Eleuthera, where I developed a passion for creating handcrafted desserts, pastries, breads, and other baked goods from scratch. In 2018, I made my very first pizza. While I wasn’t completely satisfied with the dough, my husband immediately saw its potential and purchased our first pizza oven, convinced we were onto something special.
As a perfectionist, I wasn’t ready to settle. We spent the next several years refining our recipes with one goal in mind, to create something original. Every batch of dough and every sauce was carefully crafted from scratch until we knew we had a pizza worth sharing.
On December 13, 2025, we made our debut at a local pop-up on the historic shores of Cupid’s Cay in Eleuthera. Featuring four handcrafted personal pan pizzas, we were overwhelmed by the response. Guests returned for more, shared our pizzas with others, and encouraged us to keep going.
During the event, a family member jokingly said:
“Luigi, you’re at it again... people are coming back for your pizzas!”
What began as a playful remark quickly became the inspiration behind our name.
And just like that, Luigi’s Pizza Company was born.
Today, we’re proud to serve handcrafted pizzas made with scratch-made dough, house-made sauces, quality ingredients, and the same passion that started it all. What began with a baker’s pursuit of perfection and a husband’s vision has grown into a family business built on craftsmanship, community, and a love for exceptional pizza.
